Professor Fahad F. Alsulaimani was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He completed his orthodontic specialty training at Tufts university in 1996. He then obtained a fellowship in Orofacial pain from the same institution the following year. He earned a Doctorate degree in oral biology from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Professor Fahad then went on to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
Upon completion of his achievements, he returned to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia where he was appointed as the chairman of the restorative dental department in 2003. He was then appointed the head of the orthodontic division from 2003-2007. He was also the president of the Saudi orthodontic club until 2007. He is currently a full-time professor and the chairman of the orthodontic department. His research and clinical interests include cleft lip and palate, facial deformities, syndrome patients, as well as orthognathic surgery.
Professor Fahad has many interests outside of Orthodontics. He enjoys traveling, reading history and poetry, as well as spending time with his family.

Research Interests
1) Study the skeletal and dental ages of Saudi children so we can a data bass
2) Study the timing and way of placement of bone graft in cleft lip and palate so we can develop our own protocol of treatment for this kind of patients
3) Study the effect of air way obstruction and month breathing on the general health of the child and its oxygenation level
4) The difference in orthographic surgery perception and actual before and after surgery
5) Study the perception of different teeth position and smiles between lay people and orthodontist

Start to make data bass for orthodontic to help us diagnose and treat orthodontic cases based on Saudi norms
Teach master and Saudi board student at the finest and latest technology and information (evidence based )
Do the most difficult cases which need multidisplniary team approach
